I want to take this opportunity and thank you for visiting what I hope is not your normal “political” website. My goal with www.shanemcfarland.org is to make this site a place where you can go to get up to date information about the City of Murfreesboro and learn more about what is happening in your city.

There are a few things that could be of great importance to any resident of Murfreesboro. I encourage you to sign up for the email list. From time to time I will send updates of things that are happening within the City. I also encourage you to look at my Blog. I hope to have a weekly entry about different topics and discussions pertaining to different issues of importance. Once a month I will have “Ask the Councilman” and field questions and post those questions and the answers on the website.
